In an entirely unsurprising chain of events, Caleb has managed to get possession of the Banacek siblings' car, and is using it for a good cause (depending on your definition of good) - picking up Nori from detention. The difference is that this time, they actually have some idea that they're doing something after he picks her up. Damned if he knows where, though.
At the moment, his car's engine is turned off, but the CD player's on (of course he has a CD player in there), and it's playing some quiet instrumental music (those who know a thing or two about music will note that he is listening to Explosions in the Sky). The windows are rolled down, just in case anyone wants to ask him something about homework (why would they stop to talk?)
