long time no see...
well, since i last wrote... ALOT has happened... I started playing World of Warcraft (cause brandon was always on and i wanted to be able to talk to brandt too)and i'm totally addicted! i'm on the Azjol-Nerub server! my guild is Nightmare Kingdom (love you guys!) and my main is PrinsesMarlo... a lvl 54 Tauren Shaman!! i've met some really awesome people on WoW and i hope to meet them in person when/if hubby and i go to vegas for the RL guild party!
hubby and i both guaduated from LSU in Dec of 2005!!! yay! we are college graduates now! and as of this very moment, still don't have jobs... technically we do... but not officially. hubby is in the process of being hired by the lafayette city police (should be going to the academy in september)... he also got a call back from the louisiana state police... (he has to go to a physical test thingy on aug 3). me? well i decided to call my church to see if there were any openings... i was hired for 2 positions!! one is working in the nursery on sunday mornings and the other is after school care! (with Baton Rouge Lutheran School) while trying to find a job, i decided to ask my mom if i could work with her (selling insurance for Woodmen of the World, a family fraternity) we contacted the area manager for my area and i had to go to school to be able to get my insurance license! all i have left to do is take the test and i can sign a contract with Woodmen! wow... i went from having NO job to having THREE! i hope i still get to play WoW all the time!
we have celebrated our first year as a married couple! (june 4) we even gave the dogs some cake! now we need to start getting paid so that we can get our own house! (i'm tired of living with other people... we're married... we're supposed to live on our own... but when you don't have any money it's kinda hard...)
update on Katrina Dogs...
Natasha has been laid to rest... because Bella is the one who killed her, bella is now living with my great aunt and great uncle whom have no kids or other dogs. bella is very happy there! Borris just went home to his owners (kelly, jeremy, and hannah) a couple of sundays ago. they were very happy to see them! we were sad to have borris go home, but happy that he could finally be reunited with his family!
the same weekend that borris was going home, brandon and i went to stay at my parents house (cause we hardly see them any more and it was closer for kelly and jeremy to drive to walker then to lafayette.) anyways... bandit (our beagle) and borris do NOT get along (cause they are both unfixed males). at 2am i decided to let each of them have a chance to go outside before we went to bed. bandit went out first. as i was letting him come back in so i could put borris outside, he ran back out and started growling at borris.... needless to say, when i tried to pull them apart, bandit was trying to bite borris and he accidentally bit into my wrist. the weird thing was that there was no bleeding... one of his k-9's went straight in and out of the underside of my wrist... and i had a 'smiley face' on the top of my wrist where his top teeth bit down...hubby and i spent the rest of the night in the emergency room. (didn't get back home until 6am). i could hardly use my arm for 2 weeks, but now all that's left of the ordeal is a small scar on the underside of my wrist where the k-9 went in...
i guess that's all i have to say for now...
