ok so i haven't written in a while......
well, lets see. since i last wrote, there have been 2 hurricanes that have hit near my house(s). Many of my family members were in New Orleans, but they are all safe. Hubby and I are now foster parents to some animals from Slidel. There are 2 Daschunds, Boris and Natasha, 1 huge Chocoloate Lab, Bella, and 2 huge cats, Cosmo and Harley. They are all from the same family and we wanted to keep them together. I have never seen cats so huge!
I am sitting outside of hubby's class right now, waiting for him to get out so we can walk to my class together! I found out that I can graduate in December, but I will only have one major and one minor, oh well, whatever gets me into the department of child protective services! Hubby is applying to the state troopers!
we have been working on my miata alot. we finally got in most of the parts-supercharger, roll bar, shocks, springs, shock tower brace..... lots more! i don't even know how many parts we have to put on now! hubby just got my shocks and springs on a couple of weeks ago, and we found out that we somehow got a bad batch of springs. flyin miata is sending me new ones! i love that company! not to mention they are in colorado, my favorite state! anyway. i got a new top, a cloth one with a glass back window! we got that installed a few months ago. we will probably have to wait to install the supercharger after we get out of school cause we are trying to not drive the mustang too much. it has problems. it needs to be shot! anyway, hubby is probably going to trade it in on a new one anyway!
I have a motorcycle now! the other day (well, more like 3 weeks ago) we all went riding! it was my first time to ride a long ways by myself! before then i had only rode the 6-miler about 3 times total!!!! we figured it out, and i rode about 170 miles!!! what a long trip! on the way home it was really cold! hubby was on his YZF-600R and his parents were on their Goldwing (we call it the 'cadillac'!) and i was on my Ninja 250!!!! i love my bike!! i bought it right before hurricane katrina hit! (only hours before.... it was an online auction) well, i guess i need to read my book for class.... i'll try to update more often!
