There is way too much going on right now! Stress and I don't get along very well, and if you know me, you know this to be a dramatic understatement!
A good friend of mine, who also happens to be the spiritual leader at my synagogue, is within a few weeks of having her baby. I'm very excited for her and her husband but also worried about the increased responsibilities I will have at shul during the time of her maternity leave. By itself, the work isn't all that much. It's just when I add up all the little things I've volunteered to help with that I start to feel like I'm drowning in things that need to get done.
I wish I had more time (or better budgeted the time I do have) such that I can do more cross stitching. I'm participating in a round robin for which my fabric arrived very late. I'm down to the wire on getting the fabric sectioned off for the other stitchers - the mail date is October 29 (next Monday)! Still, I'm not getting anything accomplished because of how tired I am. If I can't see it, it's ridiculous to try to work on it.
By the way, I'm ready to drop-kick this job. Any suggestions on where else to go?
