oh livejournal, I have betrayed thee, I have gone to tumblr.

I had a twitter account for a while, lord knows why, but I really couldn't see the point to it. It was a tedious distraction, entertaining for about a week, and generally geared toward those who must be connected to the internet every waking moment, must post about every packet of sugar they just put in their starbucks, and must know, OMG, what new hysterical 140 word quip their ten favorite celebrities posted in the ten minutes they were on the subway without cell reception.
Exceptions granted, but the twitter account had to be deleted Posthaste.

Tumblr, I have been hemming and hawing about for a while, but I suppose in the end I deem it a decent bandwagon to jump on. When it comes down to it, I enjoy that it is geared toward photos, with the option of just text, and that to hang around on tumblr and flip through the millions of awesome photos and inspiration, you don't have to have an account.
But having an account has its perks, now I can effectively collect and follow every image that inspires me, ever, on the interwebz, and it gives one an amazing encyclopedia of fashion, inspiration, style, and...well...everything. Throughout history. All of it.
And I approve.
It is simple. Its functions are limited, but with the over stimulation of one's brain with the sheer amount of photo data, if there were any more functions than 'follow' 'ask a question' or 'reblog', I think the average person's head might explode and OMFG I'm missing one of those stupid little rubber feet on the bottom of my laptop, which is now causing it to be unbalanced and totter like a teeter-totter every two seconds I'm going to kill it.

I'm done and going back to work.

TTFN =^-^=
