My puppy thinks he's a cat.
Seriously. He plays with the cats, his favorite toys are fuzzy mice, he likes to perch on things, oh, and he meowed yestereday.
Don't think I'm serious? I am. You know when a dog first wakes up and does that little yawn-stretch? Well, when Stitch did it, the noise that came out of his yap was a very clear: mee-ow. So, now I have a dog that thinks he's a cat. My evil cats are turning him to the dark side.
He's doing fairly well with both Sit-stay and Down-stay. I can do two full circles around him in a Sit-stay, and one full circle in a Down-stay. We've almost got "Take a Bow," but he still has to be lured into the motion. We'll have to work on a hand signal later.
If I can get the cats to stop teasing him during training. If he starts using the litterbox, I know I'm in trouble.
