Just another day in paradise...
HELLO! Just like it says...its just another day in paradise. Not to hot, not to cold...just right for being in the middle of the freaking desert!! Well...I am now in a little of a jam...here is the story...and I promise not to rant on too long. So like I said in my last post, the Marine Corps Ball is in December. Thats not the thing that is bothering me; the thing that is bothering me is that I dont know of anyone to take! AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGG!!! So that gives me like, excatly three months to find a date and try to convince her to come away with me for a weekend trip to Las Vegas. The odds of that happening...try like NONE. Holy cow...what am I going to do?! There is someone that I would LOVE to take with me, but she is back home in Indiana, still in school, cant get off of school, and her parents will, no I take that back, wont let her come out to California. What a tangled web we weave...
Anyway, I am doing great. I want to thank all of you that either sent a package or a letter my way over here in Iraq. You really dont know how much that means to me over here. Its great to actually recieve a letter and SEE that people back home care about us and havent forgotten. I want to also thank you for all of the food that you all sent over. I can honestly say that all of the food didnt last two days...its amazing how much you eat when you are watching movies during the night. Nothing has really happened to us over here lately, just those two explosions that I wrote about a few days ago. I think that it is getting colse to the time where we are going home, because everyone is getting all of their things ready to go home...I wish I could have stayed longer though...I kinda feel like I did nothing over here...but I do have ALOT of stories to tell when I get home so get the coffee going.
