Another day...another dollar...
Hello...well today wasnt very eventful. To tell you the truth, the past couple of days have been kinda ho hum...just nothing going on. I did recieve some good things in the mail today, though. HOLY COW...I ACTUALLY GOT MY MAIL!!! It felt sssooo good to hear from people back in the states, and not having it be in an email. People who I didnt even know my address over here were writing me...I miss you all very much. I want to thank you all for all of the nice words, considerations, and prayers that EVERYONE is sending to me and my fellow MARINES over here in Iraq. You really dont know how much that means to everyone.
Well I also got some even BETTER news today also...
It seems that our Battalion has reserved the Tropicana in Las Vegas for our Marine Corps Ball on December 2nd...did you see that...LAS VEGAS! Holy cow...I cant wait...the lights...the sounds...the smells...it will be like walking through a huge arcade...and oh oh oh...it will be a sexy party <---to quote Stewie from FAMILY GUY. I cant wait...look out Las Vegas...the MARINES are comming.
Well, thats it for now...we have tonight off, so I am going to try to get some sleep. Once again thank you for all of your prayers and considerations.
