Absolutely beautiful early Spring day, today. Temperature about +8° C with little wind and not a cloud in the sky. I drove to Campbellford to take my Dad to the library for some talking books and to the pharmacy for his glaucoma medication. We took a drive up to Hwy. #7 to the Ranch Restaurant just west of Marmora for lunch. It is one of my father's favourite local eateries. We then worked our way back to Campbellford over some back roads. Even though his vision is poor, my Dad likes to get out into the back country. He has mostly kept to his retirement residence not wanting to dodge the snow and ice in the parking lot.
