Do YOU want to fill the void?
people pass by without a care
while she's trapped inside a shrinking world
a happy moment is so rare
a tiny girl in chaos twirled
careening aimlessly, she stumbles
she tries to dance but trips and falls
dying alone, no one shares her troubles
as she makes her way through the halls
the friends she loves so dearly no longer at her side,
she calls their names with eyes alight
but another blank response means in herself she hides
there's no one on which to rely
and what is there to live for?
maybe the reason's just out of sight
and the flickering girl stumbles on
that girl has hope, but still she cries
because what if those friends really are gone?
the thought brings tears- the glistening evidence quickly wiped away
there's a smile to apply
The void deepens.
today was a bad day...one of those days where you have something really really upsetting you, and it hangs over you the entire day only making the excessive amounts of stress worse. I'm frustrated with school, it took all my effort not to scream in the middle of class today...and the service i have to get done is hanging over my head...but something else has been really weighing down on me and today i almost started crying like 3 times...
anyways, in english i started that poem and i finished it after school. Maybe by now you've figured out what the matter is...or maybe you can do more than that...
maybe you can help fill that void...
