My accumulated beer consumption for the past 4 1/2 years:

First, in answer to anticipated questions: 1) yes, I have recorded every single drink I've had for the past 4 1/2 years, and 2) no, I do not have a life.

Details: one "beer" = 12 oz of 5% alcohol by volume. This includes non-beery alcoholic drinks (I had wine on occasion), and recorded "beers" are adjusted according to the alcoholic content of the actual beverage consumed. Data was processed using a simple Python script, and plotted using gnuplot.

In 1622 days I consumed 2453.58 "beers" (give or take), for an average of about 1 1/2 beers per day. It will take me over two years of no beers to get down below an average of one beer per day. As far as cost goes, since I'm a beer snob I drank relatively expensive beer, so 2500 "beers" is roughly equivalent to $2500 to $3000.
