i was chilling on the sci fi website (no not syfy ok. that can go die in a fire) looking up the series "Alice" because i was bored and wanted to look at interviews they put up. by the way the show was pretty good! i was surprised how much i liked it. there are of course bad special effects, but that's kind of something expected when it comes to the sci fi channel.
anyways.
i was browsing browsing browsing and then i came across this.
DAAAAMN YOUUUUUUU KAY JEWELERS!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM MY SCI FI.
god it explains so much why i saw a bunch of kay jewelers ads on the side for their new collection, lover's embrace. o yea that's the same one with the couple in the cabin and the guy gets all creepy with his AND I ALWAYS WILL shpiel.
so you know what i did? i clicked on the ad and looked around at the site. this is the tagline for that collection, "you will always be surrounded by the strength of my love."

i looked at the prices on these things and holy moly, WHY?! there's even a section on promise rings too, which you know the idea of it is really really lame (i can't even get into that now) and a whole section on men's jewelry, which is just...WOW. i started laughing pretty hard when i looked through it. talk about tacky tacky tacky.
