End of All Things....
So finally all exams over and done with. One went terribly, the other felt good. I just hope the results average out but I won't know till the beginning of July whether any resits will be needed. In the meantime I'm rejoicing that my time is my own again.
Had a get together with some of the other students after the last exam and weirdly learnt more about them in that final afternoon than I have done over a whole year. They were a nice bunch.
So tootled off to WH on Saturday. Was jolly pleased with myself, because this time the stitching/alterations I did to my dress worked and lasted and because I'd managed to put some false eyelashes on without ending up looking cross-eyed (which was the reason I'd stopped trying them in the past). Next time I might try the really thick fluffy ones that look like eye caterpillars.
Bumped into the ubiquitous Ms Orange (putting all the curves into 'hourglass figure' in her corset and skirt) and her friend Cath. And bounced to a couple of tunes with Blouse. Otherwise it was a quiet night, just as well cos my mum came over Sunday. We popped into the stables, tried on new riding gear and drooled over expensive boots, then spend the rest of Sunday afternoon swinging in garden swing chairs, (test driving) Cos I really want one for slobbing about in the garden on hot days.
Next I've got to plan my walking hols with Dee in July, we're not going far afield but we are planning to walk between 8 and 15 miles a day...and fit in some activities too (Quad Biking, Zip Lining, Caving, Working Birds of Prey, maybe (dependent on weather) white water rafting or canoeing. We were torn between the dales where we know we won't get lost and pretty much know what activities are on offer and the coast up around Northumbria. No doubt we'll be able to get more unflattering holiday photo's, happy days.
