A Month? Already?

It's been a looong week.

I've had a realy bad cold all week, and it just made this week crawl by. Ugh. It's been a pretty good week though...I feel prepared to take over full time next week. I think. Luckily, Rebecca (my cooperating teacher) recommended that we do a team teaching type thing for Australian history, which I'm all for. I'm still mildly terrified.

I finally feel like I'm fitting in with the staff at school. I realized this after helping one of my office mates pick out a birthday present for his girlfriend's birthday. He genuinely seemed thankful for my advice, and we've been talking a lot more lately. It's been nice to feel like I'm actually making friends here.

I'm really at that point where I feel comfortable here. Here's how I can tell:
1. I no longer ask permission to go on the computer or to take food out of the fridge.
2. I'm ok to walk around town, and I'm able to do so without getting lost. However, this means I'm out of an excuse not to go running...
3. I was more than ready to prank call my host dad the other night, but Sandra and I decided it might not be a good idea to make him mad at us. :)
4. Nikki and I can entertain ourselves without anyone's help anymore.

I can't bellieve it's already been a month! And in 3 weeks, I'll be getting ready to go to Sydney and Tasmania! And in less than 2 weeks, I'll be having dinner with all te Morris people in Oz! Crazy!

Nikki and I took the train to Melbourne today...it was amazing! I can't wait to get back and spend more than a day there! (See Facebook for pictures)
