Been thinking about V for Vendetta. It's actually finally struck me why the film resonated so deeply, on a level quite apart from any ideology.

Some of you might understand what I'm talking about with only two words and one date: Tian'anmen Square, June 4th 1989.

Went to uni for research purposes today with blademistress, after which we went to see V for VendettaFirstly, I have to say the distribution at least in Auckland is pretty shocking - most cinemas were either not showing it or giving it one, maybe two crap times.
