Author Notes: Dedicated to adoorhasopened because she was having a crummy day and this is kind of a "feel better bb!" thing even though I wrote it a day late. Also. Um. I started writing this yesterday? Around 3pm? So take that into context I guess.

I didn’t know you knew what a shift key was

Zach raised his eyebrows at John Cho’s email. He actually did in fact know where the shift key was. It was located right under the caps lock and right above the ctrl key. Even on his iPhone which was currently in Chris’ possession it was right on the left side of the screen. Speaking of Chris he wondered here he went with his dog. He had to do some business on the laptop so Chris just fucked off with Noah and his iPhone like nothing.

it’s a common misconception he replied back with a small grin on his face.

He continued working when his email chimed one more time. Cho must’ve had a lot of time on his hands if he wanted to spend time emailing Zach. He didn’t mind it was just their emails went in between days not in between minutes. It was just interesting, is all.

Aren’t you supposed to be hanging with Chris today? Why the twitter spam?

That…is an excellent question. It’s an excellent question because he’s not spamming twitter. Not that he knows of at least. He decides to check it out because he’s interested what not-him is tweeting. He hopes he didn’t get hacked though…heh. If anyone other than Chris knew his password that would be rare.

He froze.

He replays the last thought he had. If anyone other than Chris… Chris knew his password. Chris had his iPhone. Son of a bitch. He logged onto twitter and sure enough there it was. Imposter Zach in all his glory.

Well those emails made a hell of a lot more sense now that he knows what Chris is doing to his dog if this is what he’s doing to his poor twitter.

He didn’t even have time to roll his eyes at that because it was followed by the most ridiculous tweet that made Zach fight back. Fucking Chris. Weren’t they supposed to be bonding anyway? That's what Chris had said at least. How in the hell were they supposed to bond when Chris was all up on his twitter page. Then the last tweet was the turning point.

Zach posted his rebuttal tweet before storming down the hallway. Of course he was in Zach's room and the door was locked. He huffed. "Chris what the hell are you doing with my phone?"

The silence was almost deafening. Then it was interrupted by a snort and Zach was pretty sure Chris read his recent tweet. "I thought you said that you were working?"

"I am."

Another breathy laugh on the other side of the door. "Since when is twitter work?" He teased.

Zach glared at the door and fuck this. "You know what?" He tries to barge into his bedroom but the fucker locked the goddamned door. The more he jiggled the door the more Chris laughed and Zach couldn't help the evil smirk that unwillingly took over his face. He wasn't amused. Not really. "Did you lock my door you dick?"

"Maybe."

Zach rolled his eyes. "I have the key you dumb ass. It is my bedroom after all."

By the time he unlocked the door and slammed his thin frame into it Chris was clutching onto his phone for dear life and he had the biggest grin on his face but Zach couldn't be deterred even though he felt a grin on his face. He rushed towards the bed but Chris rolled on his stomach protecting the phone. He reached in between them and tried to get it but Chris just rolled further away from him with a giant ass grin on his face.

Zach didn’t remember Chris being this squirmy and he definitely was never this stealthy. Chris was never stealthy but here he was actually getting away from Zach. Zach always won and overpowered him and this sucks.

He wasn’t going to give up, he did have a secret weapon if all else failed. He pounced on Chris’ back and tried to wiggle it that way. Chris tilted his head so he could breathe as he took deep breaths to filter out his laughs.

“Zach get off me,” he said even though he wasn’t exactly throwing Zach off him and he was leaning into his touch as Zach’s fingers ghosted along his side.

He nuzzled against Chris’ neck. “Chrisopher. You know you want to give me my phone back,” he sighed against his ear and Chris visibly shivered. They rolled over so Chris was on his back looking up at Zach. He got more comfortable and was on his hands and knees over Chris. “When I’m happy you’re happy. And I’m happy when I have my phone in my possession.”

Chris snorted at that. “You’ve been with your phone for the past year pretty much. I’m glad-“ he was interrupted because Zach just had to shut him up with his mouth. A year later and Chris was still as Chris as he was when Zach left.

Chris held on for dear life and Zach pecked his lips a few times before he let up. “I can’t believe you. How are you real? You are jealous of a phone. You need to get over yourself,” he chastised. He was grinning so they both knew he wasn’t serious. Then realized his exact words he used. “You need to get over yourself because I can’t.”

Chris smiled and leaned up to kiss Zach some more. The iPhone laid forgotten on the bed next to them while they tumbled around the bed for the next few hours.
