New Fic+Accomplishments!
Hey y'all! Over the past few days I've done a few things I've always wanted to do-
*Listen to "Tire Swing" by Kimya Dawson while swinging on a tire swing.
*Go skinny dipping. XD
*Start reading "Before Night Falls". It's a beautiful book that was also made into an amazing movie. Not only does it have Johnny Depp cross-dressing in it, but it is a truly beautiful film with an amazing performance by the also amazingly sexy Javier Bardem.
*Gone cow tipping. (For all of you who don't live in the south, that's where you sneak into a farm with cows and tip them over while they're sleeping.)
I feel accomplished! Plus the energy of the city is great this week. I live in Louisville, KY and we're getting ready for the Derby this Saturday. Celebrations, parties, and traditional Derby festival activities are everywhere! Anyway, on to the fic. This is something I wrote for rose_melody2 in exchange for writing a lot of drabbles for me. I should have updates for Sleepwalking within the week as well. I hope you all like this, especially you rosie!

It was Tom’s birthday and it had been a good one. He woke up to breakfast in bed cooked by Doug and there was a surprise party waiting for him at the Chapel. There was cake, ice cream, beer, and lots of presents. Once the party was over and Tom was admiring his gifts (a shirt from Judy, a camera from Ioki, and a watch from Fuller), Doug came behind him and wrapped his arms around his waist. “Have a good party baby?”
Tom smiled and kissed his lover. “Yeah, I did.” He leaned closer to Doug’s ear and lowered his voice to a whisper. “I did notice that a certain someone didn’t get me a gift, though.” Doug smiled ear to ear.
“Don’t worry; you’ll get your present from me later.” Doug whispered back, kissing Tom again. “Can I get a hint?” the other man asked. Doug shook his head. “Nope, you just have to wait. But I promise you’ll love it.” Doug gave him one last kiss and walked back to his desk. Tom raised his eyebrows in confusion but chuckled at the same time-that was so like Doug. He knew he thought of something nice.

“Do I get my present yet?” Tom asked as they finished dinner. Doug rolled his eyes. “I take you to your favorite place for dinner and you STILL ask for a present?” he joked. Tom giggled and gave him a small peck as they were walking out the door. “Don’t worry, you’ll get it.” he reassured him. “We just have go to a certain place to get it.” Tom was a little confused but didn’t ask anything as they got into the car. As they made their way down the road, he got more and more confused because Doug only took back roads and made no move near to their home. Finally, he stopped in front of the beach. He looked at Tom and smiled. “Well, we’re here!” he announced. “I don’t get it.” Tom told him, his eyebrows scrunched together. Doug just smiled wider. “I’m gonna take you skinny dipping for the first time.” he explained. Tom’s eyes widened to the size of plates.
“Are you serious?” he asked in a nervous voice. Doug nodded. “Why else would we come to the beach after dark?” he asked. Tom gulped loud enough to hear as Doug stepped out of the car and took off his shirt. “C’mon Tommy, you know you want to!” he taunted. Tom looked around. It was true, the beach was completely deserted at this time of night. And the thought of Doug wet and naked was extremely appealing. He took a deep breath and stepped out of the car as well. By the time he got out Doug had already taken off his pants. Tom removed his shirt and breathed in the moist air from the water. “Here, let me help you with those.” Doug told him, reaching for the buttons on his jeans. He slowly, teasingly undid his fly and pulled his pants down. The smaller man stepped out of his pants and shyly slid his fingers underneath the elastic of Doug’s boxers. He removed them and Doug did the same for him and his tighty-whities. The older cop held out his hand and Tom took it willingly. Tom wrapped his arms around Doug’s waist and they kissed, immediately letting their tongues meet. This was unbelievable. Tom had never even considered going skinny dipping before, but Doug made it perfect.
