Thanksgiving 2009
Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating. This year I decided that we were going to celebrate again. It's been a few years since we last celebrated. Since my father is out of the picture, I figured it was a good idea. I made my mom go out and buy all the proper fixings for dinner, she did all the work, and I slept. She went out all last night, came home around 7 am this morning. She was in a bad mood. So I slept.
Woke up around 2 pm, came downstairs and ate with her. It was rather nice. Especially since we don't really eat or spend time together anymore. Then I remembered I don't like Thanksgiving food. I still ate it though. Turkey is gross. Stuffing and mashed potatoes are meh. I like sweet potatoes though. They just didn't come out right though, my mom didn't appreciate me bringing that to her attention. She did something weird with the peas, and I didn't like it. She added onions and mushrooms, and they tasted weird, so I didn't eat them. I think she was insulted.
After we ate, she rushed off to hang out with her friend Mike. Now I'm sitting here. In a little while I'm going to callhomicide's for some horrible movie watching. I think tonight we're going to conquer the Saw series. I've never seen that series, though I did sit in the theater with my friends while Saw 4 played. I think it was 4? I don't remember, was too busy not paying attention because I thought it was stupid.

Tomorrow we're going to decorate the X'mas tree. I'm very excited for this. I can't remember the last time we had it up. Last night I dug out all the boxes and put the tree together, nothing on it though. Put a few nicknacks and other decorations around. Once everything is all up and pretty, I'll take some pics!
