Four years ago today Joe Strummer died of a congenital heart defect. I've been listening to The Clash and The Mescaleros all day today in honor. The man was a true inspiration and a legend among legends. It's saddening knowing he died 50 years young with so much talent and so much potential for the future. Tonight's the annual Joe Strummer tribute show. Anyone who's a fan of The Vultures, The 101er's, The Clash, and The Mescaleros should go. It's $7 and doors at 10 p.m.
