If you haven't heard already 2 people were murdered and 2 wounded at the YWAM Denver base this morning. Later this morning, 4 people were shot outside New Life Church in Colorado Springs. It sounds like the New Life incident is still going on and may be a hostage situation. It is unknown if it is the same killer but it sounds like it is..eye witnesses say its a white man with a beanie and dark jacket.
Please pray for a resolve and safety at New Life. Please pray for miraculous recoveries for those injured. And for the comfort of family and friends of the YWAMers killed, and that they would not give into fear but be emboldened for the gospel. The YWAM base has already released a press statement forgiving the killer and rededicating themselves to reaching broken people like him with the gospel. God be with and bless them.
