Getting Spammed by the GOP

During August 2016, we'd receive as many as three envelopes in a week from these people, each one containing a long letter describing how desperate they are for money (for reasons that I don't consider valid), and a reply envelope (or, in one case, three) with which to send our contribution.

To put it mildly: "This seems excessive."

Plus, there's some sort of really stupid irony in the whole idea of Donald Rump asking my family for money. It's the kind of irony that makes me wish people could be arrested, fined, and/or jailed for excessive irony.

Frankly, I don't like either side very much (I'm actually leaning towards the Libertarian candidate right now), but there's no ambiguity about which one is spending more money to directly bother my family.

I'm currently in the process of composing an angry letter to them, asking them to stop.
