I hate nearing the end of a novel. Doubt creeps into my thoughts, and I believe years worth of effort is wasted. Unlikely to see the light of day beyond my computer. :-(
Then, I string together good words. Words that make this hobby worth every moment. It's like being a father. You do anything for your kids. You want to see them reach maturity.
After a long struggle post-Novel In 90, where I bogged down with the expanded material, I've finished the penultimate chapter. It's only fifty pages long, a little more than 12,500 words. One chapter and an epilogue left. Man, I can't wait for this to end.
