I missed Sunday's workout, as youngest daughter held a sleepover for Halloween and the girls camped out downstairs in the living room to watch movies. Volleyball tryouts ran long and left me exhausted (mostly mentally). Yesterday's phone problems at work, combined with the UWG meeting in the evening, kept me from knocking out Sunday's planned workout session, so I've officially missed a day in the past score.
Setbacks are allowed. That's one of the tips the JM program mentions between circuits. Because if you treat them as setbacks rather than stoppages, you're still moving forward.
I'm helping younger daughter with her homework after work, and I probably won't finish until the early evening, and it turns out that's all right as well--because I'm looking forward to working out whenever we're finished. And I recognize that's definitely a step in the right direction. :-)
