Overnight Phone Support, Oh the Joys
And my favorite call of the night goes to a guy who called at 3:30am telling me he just received a message and he had to send an e-mail. He wanted to get into the computer lab in his apartment building but the door was locked.
Dude, what exactly do you expect me to do for you over the phone? I don't have a magic button that opens any door I want from my desk. I guess I could tell you to break the window out with a crowbar and go in that way, but since the calls are recorded I might be held accountable if you actually did it.
