I'd like to help out (being a 1/2 Latina and then some mutt and a mommy of a 1/2 filipina and then some mutt), if you think my input might help. I'll try to see about being online tomorrow evening (after 7 your time cause I've got a shoot and then a doctor appointment -evil thyroid-), otherwise, we can try to set up a time to either chat, e-mail, or call.
Thanks Emerarld! I look foward to your multiethnic asstsistance here with this! I'll be on line pretty much all day/evening tomorrow then! See you online hun. steve B
Thanks so much Mari-chan Honey!! Glad you are aboard with me here in general now. :) So added you are and yes, I have plenty of questions when you are feeling better. love, Steve B.
Generally speaking, it isn't necessary in Black culture to make eye contact or face someone who's speaking to you. My Louisianan family (all a bunch of proud creole coonasses, hoooright!) always think I'm weird the first couple of days of any visit when I look everyone in the eye when speaking and don't acknowledge people if they aren't looking at me while talking.
Asian Sisters always welcome here too as well ofcourse sweeteheart! It's just that I need to bone up hard on knowledge of our fellow Afrocentric Sisters for the AOST project. :)
