As a kid, some of my best memories are at this place.

Dixcart bay is amazing, I've spent hours, probably days, fishing off the rocks with a piece of twine and a pin, and a bit of whelk scopped out with a penknife. What a truly peaceful place, No cars on the island at all, just pushbikes. Everything's so simple. The people are friendly, nothing to do except de-stress, sunbathe, and watch the local kids cheer as the seacat comes round the top point on it's way into port. Like turning back time 100 years.

And I'd give lots of things if it meant I could be there right now, away from everything. Nothing seems to matter there, nuclear war could strike, and Sark would somehow be unaffected, caught in it's own little reality of ice-creams and 1970's bicycles.
