Bah humbug

Y'know, I don't think I can really keep this up. This being the "never write inyour journal unless something monumentous comes up" idea.

The only reason I use online journals is because it gives me something to do when I'm bored. And hey, I've got no problems admitting it. No car + no money + boring menial labor = paucity of adventures. Things'll pick up eventually, but for now, here's my deal.

I think I gotta start cutting back on things. As soon as my job hits and I have transportation and money, I'm going to be majorly over-extended. I'm putting myself on an exercise routine that would make Toshitsugu Takamatsu blanche, working 5 days a week (maybe more), rocking regularly and playing shows with THE BAND, training a handful of friends, filming a Monty Python-esque zombie film, and questing with one of my favorite people. On top of this, I also want to run through the full circuit of Mel Bay's Guitar Method Books, so I can be a more competent guitarist and a better teacher. I'm also looking to make extra $$$ teaching again... so blah!

As much as I hate to do it, because it's so much fun, I think I'll have to cut back on role playing and hanging out late at night with the Audubon crew. It just throws too many monkey-wrenches into my routine. I mean, on special occasions, I'd break discipline and hang out/party. But things're gonna be intense this summer and I'll loose my initiative real quick if my sleeping schedule get's fucked up.

After I become the world's greatest champion, playing for a renowned rock band, I will have to throw an all-day metalfest featuring King Diamond, Nightwish, Savatage, Manowar, and Iron Maiden. God, Nightwish is so friggin awesome. Never before has music so beautiful so thoroughly rocked the shit out of me. Savatage has a similiar bent, but their lyrics appeal to me so much more than anything else. King Diamond's there because he's too unique not to be there. Manowar's included because they're the most metal band that can possibly be formed by HU-mans, and Iron Maiden headlines because they are, and always shall be, the ultimate metal band.

Oh, and I'm First Aid and CPR certified now. I can, like, heal cripples and cure blind men now. Isn't that something? Aren't I great?

Enough out of me. If you need me, 856-783-5309

Keep rocking, I love you all.
