This morning we had a visit from a chimney sweep. A while ago, "J" had tried to have a fire in the wood stove, but the smoke didn't want to go up the chimney. Usually, "T" has an appointment on Mondays, but today "J" and I had an on-line appointment that conflicted, so T had the day off from that appointment. Our appointment seemed to go well.

This morning "J" had an on-line appointment. Afterward she said that it had been very productive. Nice to hear that from her.
Brunch with "D" at our favorite diner. He treated.

This morning, "J" went to photo day at her volunteer group. I hope the pictures turn out well.
Later, we took "T" to his usual Monday appointment. Then after school we picked him up for his karate private lesson, errands, and group class. One errand was getting J a vision appointment, and the other was stocking up on food from Costco.

Today "J" had an on-line appointment. It went smoothly.
In the afternoon I went to our usual pharmacy. Unlike last visit, which was pretty quick, this time was ridiculous, even given the pharmacist shortage: two hours just sitting, reading my phone, and waiting.

Today, "J" and I had a seminar, in the same building as where "T" goes to school. But when we arrived, nothing was going on. It turns out that we had the time mixed up. Oops!
Since we were out, we ran a post office errand instead, picked up some coffee at a drive-through, and went home for a little while.

This was a busy day. After dropping off "T" at school, I spent a long time shopping for home improvement supplies.
Later, I took "J" to an appointment. I dropped her off, and continued to pick up T from school, because he was also scheduled for an appointment, which we had nearly forgotten. I took him to his thing and hung around to wait.

This morning "J" got an appointment on short notice, pretty close to the time that I typically pick up "T" from school. So, we decided to get him first, and take her to the appointment. While we waited, T and I had a light dinner at a teriyaki restaurant. It was pretty good, and quite a good price. We still had to wait a bit longer, so we did some ( Read more... )
