sleepy morning, haircut, Fantasia
Although I got up at a fairly typical hour this morning, I was really sleepy, after working very late into the night on preparations for our Oscars party. About all I was up for this morning was breakfast, and then I went back to sleep.
When I woke late in the morning, I helped a bit more with party preparations (though admittedly I was slacking).
In late afternoon, I went to get a haircut at the usual place. It was overdue. And on a whim, I went to Archie McPhee, which is always a bit of weird fun.
This evening after dinner, "J" and I and "T" all watched a few segments of Fantasia 2000, including the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" segment that was restored from the original Fantasia. We shared popcorn. It was fun.
I've also been reading Principles of Orchestration. Am I studying? Or slacking on the actual composing?
Another on-and-off project I spent some time doing was cleaning up old entries of my journal, particularly trying to make my tags a bit more consistent so I can find things again.
