This afternoon "J" and I went to our usual hairdresser in Wallingford. We both got our hair done nicely, and had interesting conversations.
On our way home, we picked up some shelves and things to help make our garage slightly less disorganized. We'll be able to store tons of stuff on those shelves - literally: the box says they have a capacity of two tons.
This evening, I did some more door-knocking, working from the same list as yesterday (a precinct adjacent to my own). I covered eight doors and ten people (same count as last night), but hardly anyone was home. Of those who were home, two had already voted and one was mostly decided, though I think I got him to vote for Judge McCloud. I suppose I might have guessed that Friday night isn't a great time to catch people at home.
Meanwhile, J made some goodies: spicy chicken soup from scratch, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. The latter was an experimental recipe, and it was delicious.
