Finally! A reason for this icon!

Melissa Etheridge is coming to the Massey (T.O. venue) in July!!!!!!!!! Fuck, those are going to be IMPOSSIBLE to get my hands on, because not only is it M.L.E., but the Massey only has about a thousand seats. Neil Young was playing two dates there and sold out in about seven minutes (and his tickets were up to seven hundred bucks - for way at the back!). She's only playing the one night. *sigh*   But I want them so bad. On the bright side, Mum would probably trade in the house, her car and the dog for a chance at tickets, so there might be hope. Very, very, very slim hope. Aaagh. Tickets go on sale Friday. Aaaaaaagh!!! This is right up there with Stevie Nicks on the list of performers I would crawl naked over flaming broken glass to see. Aaaaaagh!!!! Plus, the Massey is a *nice* place to see a show - we saw Stompin' Tom, the Dixie Chicks and someone else there.... Prairie Oyster, I think? Anyways. This is very, very exciting.
