what are you watching this year?
All right, so my TV list for this year is gonna look like this:
Half hour "comedies"
Nurse Jackie
30 Rock
Big Bang Theory
Parks & Recreation
Modern Family
The Middle (mostly my parents show but it's on right before Modern so I imagine I'll keep watching unless it starts annoying me)
Hour long "dramas"
Damages
The Good Wife
The Mentalist
Flashpoint (I need people to fangirl this show over, someone please start watching it, it's great!)
Rizzoli & Isles (which is actually over for the year, but as I haven't had a chance to watch the finale yet I'm counting it).
Other sundry shows that don't categorize well
The Mercer Report
This Hour Has 22 Minutes
Saturday Night Live
The Hour (sporadically)
The Daily Show (likewise)
New shows I'm hopeful about adding to the roster
Mr. Sunshine (OMG ALLISON *bounce bounce bounce*)
Shit My Dad Says (it might translate REALLY badly though)
Boardwalk Empire (OMG Steve Buscemi on my TV every week!)
I imagine I'll continue to catch occasional episodes of Big Love and The Glades as well, since my dad likes them. Maybe the occasional episode of Treme and How To Make It In America and So You Think You Can Dance too, as usual.
Quasi-related sidebar: Dad's watching some terrible Ann Rule mystery movie of the week, and Michelle Hurd and Rob Lowe are in it! Goddamn Michelle Hurd and Rob Lowe, why do you both have to be so damn PRETTY all the time? I usually hate those pretty-boy looks, Rob Lowe is pretty much the only one who pulls it off successfully. This movie is really fucking bad though, it's almost funny how bad it is. Michelle Hurd's good in it, though. I'd be lying if I said she wasn't part of why I stick around when the parents watch The Glades. ;)
