Thursday, Heather, Marcie and Jennie treated me to dinner at Applebee's. They also all chipped in and made me this:
It's my money "tree." The "flowers" go all the way around and add up to $70.
We were there for hours, just catching up and enjoying each other's company. All the waiters came out to sing "Happy Birthday," and I could feel myself blushing, but they didn't charge for my dessert, so it worked out. Our waiter thought it was my 21st and I didn't correct him; I'm starting to appreciate people thinking I'm younger than I am.
Saturday, my mom cooked dinner in celebration of Sheila's, Else's, and Sherry's birthdays. Us women won at trivial pursuit. And they loved the presents I got them, as well as, the gifts they got from each other.
Sunday, I went to Brendan's. He took me to this place called Fuddrucker's. It was awesome. I had a chocolate milkshake and a burger, both which were unbelievably good. I like that they have a salad bar to put on your own toppings. And even though you order like in a fast food restaurant, the ambience is a lot more like a regular restaurant's, with dim lighting and a lamp over each table. It's definitely a new favorite.
Then we went and saw Zodiac. It was a very good movie. It was about 2.5 hours long, but I wasn't bored for a second.
Today, my parents went to AC for the night, so I'm house/dogsitting. I've been pretty much a bum today, although I did do some bookkeeping stuff for my mom earlier. The weather is much warmer now, so I'll take the dogs for a walk in a bit. Other than that, no plans for the evening.
I shall leave you with this...a picture of the necklace my mom got me for my birthday worn by the bear Brendan got me for Valentine's Day.
Have a good one,
