I know people need to take a stand sometimes. And, I sort of understand why people would have their boycott and issues about Chicago Public Schools.
But, pulling your kid out of school for a whole week? The one girl said she was sad to miss all the first of school festivities at her real school. Is that really right? Granted, the first day you typically don't get a whole lot done. I just can't imagine missing so much.
When do you have to put your ideals aside for child(ren)? Yes, change would be nice. But, it's not happening this week. I guess neither is any classroom learning.
