Thursday, I caught the Greyhound from Dallas to Houston - a ride of about four hours, but at a fraction of the cost of the taxi from my hotel to the bus station. Spent a night at the hostel, a very pleasant place at the edge of the museum district, with very friendly and helpful staff.
