(no subject)
Just in case this wasn't already obvious!! I have fallen hard for the Les Mis fandom. I'm not sure when I last fell so hard. I mean, I have, I think, five vids in progress right now -- and, and, I am even writing fanfic. (But only secretly, on the kinkmeme.) It has been a gateway fandom for me, too -- into the weird world of tumblr. That place is like... where you can go mainline your obsessions. I'm still not really sure how it all works, and I haven't made any effort whatsoever to make my tumblr look nice, but.
Also, I made an AO3 account, finally, so I can start bookmarking things. I'm not sure why it took me so long to realize what a wonderful website that is. It's just so well set-up.
I do wish though that the fandom was more active on LJ. Outside of the kinkmeme, I mean, where everyone is anonymous. LJ is just a better place for... idk, having discussions and getting to know people. When you make the effort, which -- I know I've been a disappointing LJ friend for a while now -- but. Shit, I don't even know where I'm going with this. I regret that I don't know many of you well at all. But I still think it is a good place for friendships... Just, unfortunately, it is hard for some of us (me) to keep up when our interests change. Meh, this post ended up more of a downer than I meant it to be.
