Awkward smile lopsided instructions book stray bonding beam darkest

Cave In

We always tend to bond cement glue
One to another at those darkest
Black shimmering moments deep
No awkward lopsided back pats
Just raw open books of fear
Smiles can't be faked or seen
Life's instructions when buried
Be starkly honest to find that
One beam that shows you the way
Never letting yourself forget
Those black shimmering moments
When you thought you were lost
Bonding in the dark with strays
