Things are good. I am going into week three of my new job, and week four of school. So far I have maintained a 100% in one of my courses and only have been deducted 6 points on one assignment in my other class. I should know what my GPA is in about a week or so. I also checked out what my next few blocks of classes are going to be, and I am actually pretty excited. So of them are courses that I have wanted to take for a while now. Work is good. I got a little taste of office politics last week. For now I need to bite my tongue, but once I have been there and have some seniority I won’t put up with this chicks bullshit anymore. It is just your typical power hungry chick trying to tell me how to do my job, and the way I look at it, is they hired ME to do it. If they thought she was capable they would have had her doing my job right. Not only that but she is like 4 years younger than me and claims to have “years of experience in accounting” LOL. First off this chick does not even have a high school diploma, but claims to have a GED. Ok if that be the case, when did she get her GED, two years ago? And if she just got her GED about two years ago, where is this “years of experience in accounting” coming from. Also I know from personal experience, there are not jobs available in the accounting field without at least a high school diploma. I just wanted to say “back off youngin’ I am the one with five years experience, a high school diploma and I am currently enrolled in college to get my masters in accounting, so don’t tell me how to do my job”. But like I said, for now, I must bite my tongue.
