Hooray! I put up the new section of my website just in time after all. Kat Book Two, A Tangle of Magicks (a.k.a. Renegade Magic), is going to be published in the UK one month from today, on August 1st, and now you can check out a whole section of my website devoted to Kat 2, including the full first chapter, free to read online

You have to! The Baths are amazing - or, well, obviously I think so, since they're what inspired Tangle, and most of the magic is set there! And if you do come that day, maybe we can go celebrate in the Pump Room or the Patisserie Valerie afterwards. :)

I'm eagerly awaiting Kat #2. It will be ideal summer reading.

Meanwhile, this is something that amused me recently. Not Rufus the hawk, though he very splendid, but the "other employee" hanging out in the office at about the 40 second mark. :)

Oh, the other employee is fabulous! I especially love the way he's cocking his head, listening so intently. :)
