Maille is f-ing metal.
Jen and I have determined that crafting chainmail is guys' equivalent of knitting. I have to admit, if yarn was as metal as this, I'd probably be into knitting, too.
My maille hauberk is off to a good start. It's not as bad as some stories I've heard. I had one mistake that cost be about 20 minutes of monkeying (correcting a pair of misplaced rings), but other than that, it's been pretty smooth.
In other news, I just got the biggest paycheck I've had in the 2 years since I started at my current job. Neutering my social life these past few weeks to work more has paid off.
