jimmy buffett concert = amazing. so much sweat and dancing and beer spills and singing along... great way to spend a tuesday night i'd say...
today i picked up my brother at my dad's office and we mosied over to somerset... i made him sit with me while i ate lunch at california pizza kitchen. we had a gorgeous waiter... when he asked what we wanted to drink i said "yeah and i think we are totally ready to order" and he sort of makes fun of me and says "oh yeah, totally" and my brother laughs and i say "shut up" and he's like "whoa okay then i'll just get you guys another server then!" but he was just kidding... it was fun. he called me "hun" too whenever he asked if i needed anything... coming from a twentysomething waitress it would seem sort of condescending but when it comes from a beautiful guy i can't help but love it. right after we ordered i see my crazy little ilyse walk up to us with her pink pants and a kelly osbourne shirt... i'm so glad i saw her, she's leaving for nyc on saturday to go to an art school for a month.... i've told her already that because she's leaving me, she has to paint me something for my dorm room...
after lunch justin and i went our separate ways... i mooched off of sephora's lovely lip glosses and re-sprayed some marc jacobs everywhere... then walked over to j.crew and got some good sale stuff... a long, white linen skirt with a long ruffle on the bottom, jeans that are that thin, linen-like denim, and a black wrap-around tank... betsy actually has it and i was envious so i went and bought it... and actually went into the bathroom afterwards to change into it. had to finish off the whole sleek black look i guess... i always feel the need to dress up when i go to that crazy mall... but it's fun anyway.
and it's a heatwave outside...
almost too hot at this point...
then again it only proves that good weather comes to those who wait...
and even those who live in michigan and had their winter extend to may before it was ever this consistently beautiful...
