It's nearly 2 am so obviously...
It is time for that 6 random facts meme. There are rules I can't be arsed retyping here. I'm sure you hae seen them elsewhere.
1: I am now (as of just after the General Meeting in the last few weeks) a member of the International Astronomical Union. Which is ironic given I am now no longer being paid to do astronomy. Should possibly try and remidy this, especially now there is an known destination (Adelaide, in case you hadn't heard)
2: The rate and detail in the embroidery goes up when Z leaves town. It will be interesting to see what this does for craft output in the next year or two or three.
3: I know that the world is round because I have been all the way around it and the stars weren't right in the northern half.
4: I associate particular places with particular pieces of music - possibly due to what was on the car stereo when travelling through, though this doesn't quite explain Vaughn William's Fantasia on Greensleeves and Fox Glacier when we weren't in the car at the time.
5: The furthest north I have been is Stockholm, the furthest south Stewart Island.
6: Oddly enough given how talkative I am in large groups, I have no qualms about getting up in front of lots of people for public speaking. I am nervous as hell just before hand, but once I am talking, no worries. I did debating in intermediate and high school to the point where I was coaching a junior team in the last year of high school.
