it wears her out

Stuff I remember from the last few years of elementary school: my skinnyness, braces, retainer, big glasses, Spice Girls, "Six Underground" by the Sneaker Pimps, "Song 2" by Blur, Spice Girls gum and candy and dolls, Wu-Tang Clan and hearing the most swearing in my life, flannel shirts, my fake Airwalks, ball-chain necklaces, hoodies, wide leg pants, Q-Tip the rapper guy, making necklaces, Romeo and Juliet movie, Sarah McLachlan, "The Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson, No Doubt, "groups", schoolgirl crushes, wearing a dress, feeling grown up, wearing heels, dancing dancing, being away from home without my parents. Rammstein and Limp Bizkit. I wore a lot of weird clothes. Getting my period.

I saw Paul today. We were on the same bus and instantly recognized him. I asked him if he was Paul and we started talking and shook hands. My hands were clammy. The last time I had seen him was the reunion we had in Grade 11. Okay, on Sunday on the trip I recognized Jessica and Robert and talked to them too. They went to my elementary school but were a year older. We were in the same class though cos it was a split class. It's funny because everyone looks the same. Jessica said you couldn't tell I was the same Michelle now from when I was 14 and I was surprised. It's funny how people come in and out of your life.

I went to a recycling sorting plant tour in Etobicoke with some people today. It was interesting and informative. I think I smell because of it now. It was really cool though. Because of the tour I skipped Economics. Then I skipped Computers cos I didn't feel like going to it. There's an afternoon Economics class too that's the same thing but I didn't feel like going to that one either.

I'm so dumb. I was panicking about having to return my library books today but Rosemary asked me why couldn't I just renew them. I think I can renew them up to two times so it was okay.

The Craft is on tv tonight. That reminds me of elementary school too. We tried to make people float in the air.
