Did you know Kombucha tea was fermented? I did not know this. Stopped at the grocery store on the way in to work, and grabbed a drink on the organic food aisle. It was cranberry and tea. I thought "oh,like a Snapple-ish sorta thing". When I opened it, it was a stinging vinegar stench that almost knocked me over. It also had a warning that it may contain an unknown amount of alcohol, but probably just a "trace" amount. Right-o. I am just not that into the raw food movement that I can drink the residue from soaking a mushroom in black tea.
Anyhoo, finally got the call from the Subaru dealership about my overheating car. It began overheating last month, and we had flushed out the radiator, and changed the thermostat. When it continued, we thought it was the head gasket (noticed some oily stuff in the flushed out coolant). They could not reproduce any of the symptoms we had mentioned. They did find that it was very low on coolant because we had not properly bled it after flushing and refilling the fluids. Oops. We finally picked it up today, feeling a little stupid. The good news is that we had saved a bunch of money in case it was the head gasket, so we paid off a lot of bills.
