voted to repeal the law that would allow gay people the right to marry. I felt sick when I saw the numbers turn last night, as they started off looking strong for holding the law up. Looking at the breakdown of votes in my local paper, apparently my neighbors are some deeply homophobic bigoted people. But they voted through the medical marijuana law ??!!! I'm all for that, but who are the people that voted FOR pot and AGAINST civil rights? And the comments in the newspaper? Sickening.
Why are we even voting on this? And doesn't anyone remember history?
