I tend to be self-conscious and not realize my, uh, value, so to speak. But I finally asked for a raise at work and was told we'd need to have an evaluation talk first. Well. So that's going to be tomorrow afternoon. I'm still not sure what I should say if they ask what salary I want. But last week the Tekom (a sort of union/association for my profession) released the results of their latest survey regarding the salaries of employees in my profession, so I do have a general idea of the pay scale now. (Way, way more than I'm getting at the moment...)
