(no subject)
I'm proud to say that my face has returned to its natural color. Had the first Zumba class today; it was exhausting. But fun. There was some salsa music, some reaggeton, some bachata - we even did tango steps. I knew some of the Spanish songs and could quietly sing along. My mom was contemplating doing a class where she lives, but well... The steps are not hard to copy from the instructor, I just can't imagine her doing two steps to the right, two to the left, jumping back, forward, and then the same with arms... With two artificial hip joints no less.
Today I drove by the site of the accident I was talking about in my last post. There are tire marks on the ground and an array of candles on the traffic barrier at the side of the road. It's eerie.
I used one of the company cameras today, but the card was full. With someone's vacation pictures, including his half-naked wife at the beach! Seriously, how stupid can you be to take a company camera on your private vacation trip (even if that part might be allowed, I don't know) and then leave your pictures on it. I deleted most of them because I needed the space and I figured if he hasn't saved them by now, it's his own fault.
On the way to the Zumba class the bus passed three distributor boxes (? is that right? those big square cabinets on the streets) that someone painted. I have no idea who. We have a German flag that was painted for the soccer championship, Bernd das Brot, and my personal favorite:
