I'm never taking my parents' car without permission again. Well, not that I actually really need to ask for permission, but anyway. I spent the long weekend (Monday was a holiday here) at my parents' house. I didn't want to leave yesterday evening because it was late and because I still had things to do at home. Still have, in fact. So I drove to work instead of taking the train, because the train ride is about twice as long as driving. When I was almost there, the car suddenly told me to check the coolant. In fact, it was rather persistant, flashing "Check coolant" "See operating manual" "STOP!" Naturally I was a little afraid of that STOP! but after checking the manual and checking the temperature of the motor I decided that it would probably be okay for the rest of the way.

It was, so I checked after work. That reservoir was almost empty, way, way below the minimum line. Luckily I got everything sorted out with the help of a nice colleague, who drove me to the nearest gas station to get some anti-freezing stuff and water. Of course it's not my fault that coolant was missing, but it'll be told for ages how that one time my parents went on vacation, I broke the car. My family's just like that.

Yay, summer time = mosquito bites. :S

Aaaand, this random thing was still sitting in my Semagic when I opened it:
I like the idea of getting organic "Bio" products. I do not always buy them, because they are more expensive, but sometimes. I always buy organic, fair trade bananas, I think they taste better. But if organic carrots are imported across a whole continent from Israel when they grow just fine here, I think this is kind of counterproductive.

stuff, wtf
