(no subject)
I know some of you must have it, so could someone upload the video of Teenage Wildlife for me?
My cousin's in Thailand right now, on a backpacking tour. At least she and her boyfriend wanted to go, but maybe they didn't, after all. Maybe my mom knows something from my aunt.
If you read my twitter, then you know that I have ants in my wall. Or under the floor. Specifically, they come out in the crack where the wall and floor meet. It's an old house with ceilings constructed from wooden beams and loam. It's got many cracks. There is a thin bar over the edge (bear with me; I don't even know what this is called in German), and some manage to squeeze out from under it, then run around in my room. I'm not amused. It's getting worse and worse, too, you can hear them eating or breaking up something in the wall. And they're big. I captured a few on Monday that were about 10 mm long. Today I carefully removed the bar a bit and nearly had a heart attack. The ones from Monday were just the ones that had fit through yet; there were even bigger ones behind it! My roommate doesn't even have this new information yet, I suppose he will not be happy about this. They're not reacting at all to the ant trap roommate gave me, but at least they're not wandering around as freely anymore since I put up a baking powder barrier.
I think I'm addicted to flapjacks. I brought a box from England, and they're delicious. Another thing I need to add to my list of things I need to learn to make myself since they're not available here.
