I needed more general, non-fanish icons, so I made this one from a picture I took in Spain. The sky was not actually that blue, neither was the sea. In fact it was a rather gray, windy day and it rained multiple times. I had to touch it up a bit. Those three people are my mom, my sister's boyfriend, and my sister ( Read more... )

That's a lovely icon!

After that much exercise, you definitely deserved a delicious meal! I've never eaten quinoa, but it sounds yummy.

So what does Lance do in Tropic Thunder?

Thank you. :)

We had quinoa patties for lunch sometimes in Peru (and the carpenter didn't like it, so once in a while, I got two!). I love it.

So what does Lance do in Tropic Thunder?

How much do you want to get spoiled? *g* It's not a big role, you just see him for a second or two, but the circumstances are hilarious.

I really don't mind being spoiled - I rarely watch movies (or TV) so it's usually spoiling or nothing. :D

I am shocked. ;) Although I watch very little besides Supernatural these days, too. I already missed Reaper on TV again today.

Are you familiar with the movie's basic premise? Or do you even want to know more about Lance's role? :)

I know nothing about the movie! Just tell me what Lance did in it?

The movie is about a bunch of actors shooting a war movie being dropped in the jungle and having to find their own way through it. At one point they're settled down for the night and get to talking about people they're missing from home, particularly girlfriends. One of them says how he likes someone called "Lance" whom he wants to talk to when they get back. Half a minute later he backpaddles and tries to claim how he said "Nance", not Lance since he is not gay at all.

The movie eventually is shot, turning out differently than they'd intended it to, and it wins an Oscar. At the award ceremony you can see the actor first being congratulated by his co-star beside him, and then he turns and Lance is sitting on the other side and congratulates him as well. *g*

Of course, the first time the guy said "Lance", I immediately thought of our Lance, and I was very gleeful when it turned out to be indeed him.
